Wednesday Night Prayer | September 24, 2025 | Business Mountain

This applies to all aspects of our culture that deal with the balance of the production of resources, the distribution of resources, and the consumption of resources. This sphere of society includes every area of the marketplace (sciences, banking, medicine, retail, services, the restaurant industry, trades, etc.). It also includes our federal, state, and local governments. The mountain of business/economy plays a vital role because it provides the funding and other resources that every other area of influence needs to function.

1st Prayer Point: We serve the God of provision, Jehovah Jireh. He delights in providing for us. He delights in revealing His mysteries and wonders to us. We enter His throne room with thanksgiving and praise for all He is doing.

• Thank you for establishing your Kingdom on this mountain as it is in Heaven. Thank you for exposing the systems of this world that have influenced this part of our culture and for teaching us Your ways!
• We praise you Lord for Your provisions and we trust in you alone.

Philippians 4:19 (HCSB) And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Psalms 121: 1-2 (HCSB) I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

• Thank the Lord that we don’t have to wear ourselves out to get rich. You are more than enough. We can keep our trust and hope in you!

1 Timothy 6:17 (HCSB) Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy.

Proverbs 23:4 (HCSB) Don’t wear yourself out to get rich; stop giving your attention to it.

• Thank you, Lord, for your faithful servants who are already impacting this mountain for your Kingdom. We declare that You are the master builder. May our work, our businesses, and our homes be built by you and you alone. We pray that our labor will not be in vain but that it will be fruitful for your Kingdom here on earth.

Psalm 127:1 (HCSB) Unless the Lord builds a house, its builders labor over it in vain; unless the Lord watches over a city, the watchman stays alert in vain.

• God, thank You that You made a way for your people to be blessed, regardless of the economy. Thank you that as we continue to give, by Your leading, You bless our seed and it is given unto us, a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

Luke 6:38 (ESV) Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure, you use it will be measured back to you.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (HCSB) The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

2nd Prayer Point: We choose to serve Jehovah-Jireh (the Lord my provider) and not mammon. The major spiritual influences on the economy mountain are greed and poverty. They work with the principality mammon to influence this mountain. Mammon, an excessive desire for money and wealth, wrestles for God’s seat in our life, causing us to always strive for more.

• Pray for the Lord to reveal in our personal life where we have come into agreement with a spirit of greed, poverty, and mammon.

Luke 16:13 (NKJV) No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

• Lord, we repent for believing these lies. We ask that you forgive us for not putting our trust in you and you alone. Help us to trust in you for you are Jehovah Jireh, our provider.

Matthew 6:31-32 (HCSB) 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

James 4:7 (HCSB) Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

• We break the stronghold of greed, poverty, and mammon off our life now in Jesus’ name.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (HCSB) since the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments 5 and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

3rd Prayer Point: Promised provisions have been released over The Crossing Church for 2025. Let’s pray into these words for us from the Lord, we are believing for His promised provisions for every family connected to this house.

• We are believing God this year for the promise of job opportunities. We are trusting you, Lord for favor in this area, for job opportunities to chase us down and doors to be made open on our behalf. Lord, give us wisdom and insight beyond our own understanding and experiences.

Genesis 47: 6 (HCSB) And if you know any competent men among them, then make them chief herdsmen over my livestock.”

• We are believing God this year for the promise of land and ownership. We believe that You are making a way where there seems to be no way. You have already provided everything we need.

Genesis 34:10 (HCSB) You shall dwell with us, and the land shall be open to you. Dwell and trade in it and get property in it.

• We trust Your promise that we will be exempt from any impact of famine in this land. Thank you, Lord, that we have favor with you and that Your blessings are on this house. Because we have a priestly inheritance as children of God, we are exempt!

Deuteronomy 28: 1-14 (HCSB) “Now if you faithfully obey the Lord your God and are careful to follow all His commands, I am giving you today, the Lord your God will put you far above all the nations of the earth. 2 All these blessings will come and overtake you, because you obey the Lord your God: 3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. 4 Your descendants will be blessed, and your soil’s produce, and the offspring of your livestock, including the young of your herds and the newborn of your flocks. 5 Your basket and kneading bowl will be blessed. 6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out. 7 “The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you from one direction but flee from you in seven directions. 8 The Lord will grant you a blessing on your storehouses and on everything you do; He will bless you in the land the Lord your God is giving you. 9 The Lord will establish you as His holy people, as He swore to you, if you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in His ways. 10 Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the Lord’s name, and they will stand in awe of you. 11 The Lord will make you prosper abundantly with children, the offspring of your livestock, and your soil’s produce in the land the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open for you His abundant storehouse, the sky, to give your land rain in its season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow. 13 The Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward if you listen to the Lord your God’s commands, I am giving you today and are careful to follow [them]. 14 Do not turn aside to the right or the left from all the things I am commanding you today, and do not go after other gods to worship them.

• We are asking for a Joseph anointing for leadership and ability to see what’s ahead. Lord, will you stir up our ability to dream and receive prophetic insight.
• We declare that we are walking in our Goshen land of comfort and plenty!

Genesis 4:27 (HCSB) Israel settled in the land of Egypt, in the region of Goshen. They acquired property in it and became fruitful and very numerous.

4th Prayer Point: We also want to pray against corruption that has infiltrated the business/economy sphere of influence.

• Pray for wisdom and truth to continue to come forth in our governmental leaders in this sphere and for all corruption to be exposed and removed.

Jeremiah 33: 3 (HCSB) Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and wondrous things you do not know.

Proverbs 12:22 (HCSB) Lying lips are detestable to the Lord, but faithful people are His delight.

Amos 5:24 (HCSB) But let justice flow like water, and righteousness, like an unfailing stream.

• Pray for our local Chambers of Commerce, Commissioners, and City Councilmen:                                                  

We ask that these leaders work to create commerce that is honoring of your Word and will help transform this region for You.                                  

• Lord, let them make decisions concerning our communities’ commerce that will bring Biblical principles to the forefront of everything they do.
• We are asking for Christian men and women to be elevated among these boards and in the leadership of these organizations.
• Pray that we will be a people who work and labor with excellence andnobility, not with an entitlement mentality.                                    

Ephesians 6:7 (HCSB) Render service with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to men,                                                                                        Psalms 90:17 (HCSB) Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish for us the work of our hands- establish the work of our hands!

Colossians 3:17 (HCSB) And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.                                                                                      

Colossians 3: 23-24 (HCSB) Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord-you serve the Lord Christ.
